Philadelphia, PA

SUNDAY MARCH 13TH

  • City Hall
  • Reading Terminal Market: the building is dimly lit and cramped with a ton of people and food stalls, but the seafood I got was real fresh and real good
  • Liberty Bell: big bell with a big crowd
  • Independence Hall: it’s a lot more fun to learn about history when you’re at the location it occurred at rather than being stuck in a classroom; the tour guides there are awesome
  • New Hall Military Museum
  • Carpenter’s Historic Hall
  • Jim’s Steaks: Ingrid said it was the best place to get cheese steaks in Philly, and she was so right

TUESDAY MARCH 15TH

  • Valley Forge: it’s basically a huge field, but the visitor center has some nice educational videos, and it was fun to walk inside the old bunkers
