  • Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception: it’s beautiful, just go
  • Spot of Tea: our friend’s favorite brunch spot (and now ours)
  • Fairhope Beach: it’s not a Florida-level beach, but it’s still nice
  • The Grand Hotel in Fairhope: pretend you’re a guest and snag some free cookies and tea (or just stay here because the hotel and its grounds are beautiful)
  • Mardi Gras Parade: The Mystics of Time parade at night is the biggest (according to the locals) and you can expect to be thrown moon pies, beads, plastic chickens, a container of cheese balls, fake giant toothbrushes, and plastic cups. (no flashing required at this family-friendly event)
