Chattanooga, TN

SUNDAY MAY 29TH

  • Tennessee Aquarium: hands down the most famous thing in Chattanooga; this museum has butterflies, penguins, and more, but their river-species exhibits were by far the most impressive
  • Hunter Museum of American Art: American Art ranging from Colonial to Modern
  • Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge
  • NorthShore: shopping area across the river
  • Coolidge Park: riverfront park complete with carousel
  • Boathouse Restaurant: a little out of downtown, but good food and great views
  • Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park: our friend drove us to an old military tower in the park, which had amazing views of the north Georgia mountains
