MONDAY JULY 3RD

  • Beehive Huts: dwellings built in 2000 B.C.
  • Dhún Chaoin Pier (Blasket Islands): location of the old dock that would ferry people from Blasket Isalnds to the mainland
  • Inch Beach: the only people on this small beach had wet suits because it was so chilly
  • Ring of Kerry: famous road with many stop offs
  • Lady’s View: picturesque viewpoint along the Ring of Kerry
  • Killarney National Park
  • Waterfall: located along a trail in Killarney National Park
  • Muckross Castle: 19th century mansion
  • Ross Castle: 15th century tower house along Lake Leane
  • Danny Mann’s Pub: below average pub that we only went to for a drink
  • The Med: Italian and Mediterranean food with good pasta
  • McSweeney Arms Hotel: had a great hotel bar
