  • Canal Cruise: since the canals are only used for tourists, the cruise is a nice way to see the city
  • Bruges Market Place: located in the heart of Bruges, this central square dates back to the 12th century
  • Bruges City Hall: the area of a former fortified castle located in Burg Square
  • Bruges Half Moon Brewery: brewery that pipes its beer underground for two miles in order to bottle it off site
  • Ghent Castle: Gravensteen castle originating from the Middle Ages; now it just functions as a museum for the city
  • Gentse Feesten: 11 day long music and theater festival that draws about 2 million visitors each year
